Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG)
DAF is highly effective at removing FOG, suspended solids and proteins, often achieving significant reductions in these parameters.

Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD5) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD)
The MBR process is particularly adept at the biological degradation of organic matter, leading to high reductions in both BOD5 and COD. It combines biological treatment with membrane filtration, resulting in a cleaner effluent than traditional activated sludge systems.

Total Nitrogen (TN) and Total Phosphorus (TP)
Membrane Bioreactors (MBRs) equipped with biological nutrient removal (BNR) are engineered to significantly reduce nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations.
